Brett gave me some great lines in it. Juggernaut’s a cool dude. I’ve got some funny lines.
Braveheart, I also really like Westerns, so I would say The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I also like mafia movies; so anything with
De Niro and
Pacino. I liked the original Get Carter.
That was one of the main things, really. The films I've been doing have been short and sweet lines and I haven't been able to express myself as much as I've wanted to. So, this is my first lead role and there's about 110 pages of dialogue which has been brilliant.
Well, I think the comedy is the same comedy as in Lock, Stock and Snatch. Guy Ritchie was executive producer. Matthew Vaughn was producer, so it's black comedy, sort of the characters having a laugh at themselves.
Because if you know and understand your character, it is pretty easy to get into it. But if you suck, any viewer will see through it. In football, you have a supporting cast and the end result is the work of everyone.

Well, we had one girl who plays Massive, who's my pal. He just couldn't get it so we gave him a non-football role. We made him the manager, played by Vas Blackwood who was in Lock, Stock.
On the movie side, I really like making them; so going to the premieres is always a highlight, there is so much energy.

the actors that we got in, the first part of the casting was to see if
they could play football. They had to look natural with a football as
well as with their lines, so once we got the actors that we wanted who
could play football, then we trained them for about three weeks.
