Vanessa
Ferlito (born December 28, 1980) is an American actress. Ferlito,
an Italian American, was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents who
owned a local hair salon. Her father died when she was three years
old. Ferlito portrayed Claudia during 24's third season and had a
small part in Spider-Man 2, but she is mostly known for her role
as Detective Aiden Burn on CSI: New York. She chose to leave the
show because, ironically, she wanted to go back to New York. One
of television’s most promising young actresses, Vanessa is best
known for her role as sexy detective Aiden Burn on CSI: NY. Prior
to landing on the top-rated show, she also enjoyed appearances on
The Sopranos, Law & Order and 24. Ferlito is currently
pregnant with her first child. She is a vegetarian, supporter of
animal rights, and an active member of PETA. Vanessa is also
