Doctor's Advocate

Doctor's Advocate is the forthcoming sophomore album by West Coast rapper The Game. The album's name, Doctor's Advocate is a reference to the rap pioneer Dr. Dre who essentially "found" The Game, according to the rapper himself. It is expected to have much of the same producers that his first album had, including Kanye West, Just Blaze, and Cool and Dre. However, there has been much speculation on whether Dr. Dre has contributed to the making of Doctor's Advocate. The Game revealed that Dr. Dre is not on the album.

The album was originally intended by The Game to be released on June 6, 2006. The release date, however, had been pushed back several times and is now scheduled to be released on November 14. The album is rumored to feature appearances by artists Snoop Dogg, Nas, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes,Lyfe Jennings, Ice Cube, Young Jeezy, Damian Marley & Fat Joe among others.

The Game released an unofficial single from the album called "It's Okay (One Blood)" on July 24. Following its release, the rapper collaborated with his photographer and personal friend Jonathan Mannion to create a video for the song. On September 20, 2006 93.5 KDay in Los Angeles premiered The Game's 2nd single Strip Club (Let's Ride).

On Tuesday, September 27, 2006 The Game appeared on MTV's Sucker Free countdown. There he revealed that he had recorded a nine-minute long track with Nas and Marsha (of Floetry). He also stated that Kanye West will produce and appear on a track, which is rumored to be titled "Wouldn't Get Far". The official album artwork is displayed all through the week of 9/26 in MTV's TRL studio for Spankin' Free Music Week which The Game appeared on. The album artwork also has a resemblance to his first album.

The Game states in MTV's Mixtape Monday that he has collaborated with Young Jeezy. The Game also confirmed that will.i.am produced two tracks for the album that will make the final cut and he was surprised about Will's talent.
