Doggystyle (1993) : Doggystyle is the debut album from American West Coast hip hop rapper Snoop Doggy Dogg, released November 23, 1993 on Death Row Records. The album was recorded soon following the release of Dr. Dre’s landmark debut album The Chronic (1992), to which Snoop Dogg contributed significantly. His musical stylizations for the album share similarity to those featured on Doggystyle. Critics have praised Snoop Dogg for the lyrical “realism” he delivers on the album and for his distinctive vocal flow.

Tha Doggfather (1996) : Tha Doggfather is Snoop Doggy Dogg’s second studio album and follow up to his debut album Doggystyle, released by Death Row Records in 1996. The album was re-released July 11, 2005. Although the album debuted at number one in the week of November 12, 1996 with over 478,971 copies sold, it failed to match the commercial success of Doggystyle due to the lack of involvement of Dr.Dre. It was released only one week after another Death Row release, the first posthumous album by slain Tupac Shakur, the The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory, which also debuted at number one.

Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told (1998) : Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told is the third studio album by Snoop Dogg, his first for No Limit Records. It is Snoop’s first not to be produced by Death Row Records, as well as his first released after his nickname change from Snoop Doggy Dogg. Da Game debuted #1 on the Billboard 200 Album charts selling over 519,000 copies, and stayed on top for the second week also by selling additional 246,000 units according to Soundscan thus was quickly certified double platinum later that year. The album featured mostly No Limit artists and was a departure from Snoop Dogg’s first two albums which were strictly West Coast.

No Limit Top Dogg (1999) : No Limit Top Dogg is Snoop Dogg’s fourth studio album and his second on No Limit Records, and his first on his own label Doggystyle Records. It was released May 11, 1999 and features the hit single “Bitch Please” featuring Xzibit and Nate Dogg, produced by Dr. Dre. The album’s 187,400 debut week sales made it jump to #2 on the Billboard album chart. Though it was Snoop Dogg’s first album to not debut at #1, it sold 1,503,865 copies in 1999.

Tha Last Meal (2000) : Tha Last Meal is the fifth studio album by rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on December 19, 2000. The album included the singles “Snoop Dogg (What’s My Name Pt. 2)” and “Wrong Idea” featuring Bad Azz. It sold 397,238 copies its first week and has sold over a million copies to date according to SoundScan.

Snoop Dogg Presents Tha Eastsidaz (2000) : Tha Eastsidaz is the debut album by American rap group Tha Eastsidaz. It was released February 1, 2000 on Dogghouse Records and TVT Records. The album was recorded at Dogghouse Studio, Music Grinder & Skip Saylor Recording, Hollywood, California. Most of the songs were performed live on Hustler’s rap-porn compilation Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle XXX DVD. The album was executive produced by Snoop Dogg.

Duces ‘n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way (2001) : Duces ‘n Trayz: The Old Fashioned Way is the second studio album by American rap group Tha Eastsidaz, released on July 30, 2001. The album features the single “I Luv It” and includes the song “Crip Hop” which was also featured in the film, Baby Boy and the corresponding soundtrack.

Paid tha Cost to Be da Boss (2002) : Paid tha Cost to Be da Bo$$ is the sixth studio album from rapper Snoop Dogg, released in 2002. The album has been certified Platinum by the RIAA and has sold over 1,300,000 copies worldwide.

R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece (2004) : R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta): The Masterpiece is the seventh studio album by rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on November 16, 2004. The album features production by The Neptunes.

The Hard Way (2004) : The Hard Way is the 2004 music album release by the hip hop music group, 213 which consists of Snoop Dogg, Warren G and Nate Dogg. It has sold 500,000 units according to TvT Records by December 16, 2004. The reunion of the band first appeared as 213 in Warren G’s The Return of the Regulator in the track “Yo’ Sassy Ways”.

Tha Blue Carpet Treatment (2006) : Tha Blue Carpet Treatment is the eighth studio album released by rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on November 21, 2006 on Geffen Records. The album debuted at #5 on the Billboard charts.

Ego Trippin’ (2008) : Ego Trippin’ is the ninth studio album by rapper Snoop Dogg. The album was released March 11, 2008, and featured production from QDT (Quik-Dogg-Teddy).

Malice n Wonderland (2009) : Malice n Wonderland is the tenth studio album by rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on December 8, 2009. The album consists of fourteen tracks and features production from Teddy Riley, Nottz, The Neptunes, The-Dream, and Terrace Martin. Guest features include R. Kelly, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em, and Brandy.
