She was the actress in the award-winning VW Jetta commercial,
"Synchronicity."
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, she began acting in the theatre while
working as an architectural photographer. In her first short film, Pas
de deux (2000/I), she won an Outstanding Performance award at the
Brooklyn Film Festival.
Younger Brother - Swope works as a banker in New York. Older Borother Preston is a musician.
Clarke spent her senior year in Bolohna, Italy. This is where she started acting.
Sarah burst on to the scene when she landed a coveted role on the amazing TV drama '24'. She plays the evil Nina Myers opposite Kiefer Sutherland in one of the most inventive and exciting shows in TV history.
Both she and her husband, actor Xander Berkeley, have played turncoat
government agents who help terrorists attempt to kill the President of
the United States. Clarke on the TV series "24" (2001), and
Berkeley in the movie Air Force One (1997).
In one of her guest appearances on "24" (2001), Nina's picture
is brought up during a CTU meeting, and the name next to the picture
reads "Sarah Berkeley".
Sarah is engaged to Xander Berkeley, who plays George Mason on "24." They met whilst filming the pilot episode of the show.
She has made guest appearances on "Sex and the City" and "Ed," and has appeared in two independent films not yet released -- "The Accident" and "Emmett's Mark," which co-stars Scott Wolf, Tim Roth and Gabriel Byrne.
Sarah has continued acting with roles in the films ‘Thirteen' and ‘Happy Endings,' and the television show ‘E-Ring.'
Sarah attended Indiana University where she studied Italian and fine arts.
She spent her senior year in Bologna, Italy. She is fluent in the language.
She is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. She was initiated into
the Beta (Indiana) chapter in 1990.

Sarah acted in one of the most popular TV commercials of recent years. It was the award winning VW Jetta commercial called 'Synchronicity'... It is the one where a couple drive down a city street listening to a song in which every beat seems to coincide with the actions of the people they pass.
She also is featured in the Southwest airlines commercial called 'Lewis'.
