Kolko (Salma Hayek), a Private Detective, is soon on his tail, but when she meets Kresk the two fall helplessly in love, adding further intrigue to the plot. Cameo appearances come thick and fast throughout the film, with Swedish director Traktor drawing on the many talents of Jeff Goldblum, David Cross (MR. SHOW), Elijah Wood, David Hyde Pierce (FRASIER), and Lara Flynn Boyle (TWIN PEAKS). A little-known treat, CHAIN OF FOOLS is a screwball comedy that easily holds in own alongside the all-time greats of the genre.

Included in the mix will be David Siqueiros (Banderas), Rivera's rival in the Mexican art world, Tina Modotti (Judd), a famed Italian photographer, and Nelson Rockefeller (Norton), who famously contracted Rivera to paint the lobby mural of Rockefeller Center, only to renege because it included a portrait of Lenin. Every Friday for longer than the locals can remember, the Colonel waits by the dock for a letter announcing the arrival of the government pension he has been promised year after year. Time Code (2000)

Comedy and Drama
1 hr. 37 min.
Mike Figgis's intriguing experiment, digitally photographed, is the first feature film ever to be shot entirely in one take. Four cameras were used to follow parallel stories, which converge at the film's climax. Loosely, the story concerns the casting of a feature film in an earthquake-prone Los Angeles. Working from an outline by Figgis, the assembled actors improvised their lines in order to better adapt to potential roadblocks. Rather than cut back and forth between chosen cameras, Figgis has opted to leave all four scenes running onscreen at the same time.

This abrupt meeting sets her off on an extraordinary journey of mystery, comedy and suspense as she is transported to a fantastical world of celestial characters and spirited adventure. Wild Wild West (1999)

Action/Adventure and Science Fiction/Fantasy
Barry Sonnenfeld is reunited with his MEN IN BLACK star Will Smith in this gadget-soaked romp based (loosely) on the 1960s television show. WILD WILD WEST supplies many impressive visuals (thanks to brilliant production designer Bo Welch) and some hearty laughs. Will Smith is James West, a Civil War hero and U.S. marshal inclined to shoot first and ask questions later. His partner is the wacky inventor and pseudointellectual Artemus Gordon (Kevin Kline). The team is created when the world’s leading scientists are kidnapped by a diabolical madman named Dr. Arliss Loveless (Kenneth Branagh), and President Ulysses S. Grant (also played by Kevin Kline) wants his two best men on the job. Loveless’s machines have the creepy fun feeling of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS (Welch again)--many of them have a spider motif--and Artemus Gordon rivals him with his own fun inventions. An odd but enjoyable blend of science fiction and old-school Western, WILD WILD WEST is packed with cool images and slick action sequences.
