Bean 2 (2006)

Writing credits
Simon McBurney

Keeping Mum (2005)

A pastor (Atkinson) preoccupied with writing the perfect sermon fails to realize that his wife is having an affair and his children are up to no good.

Mr. Bean - Grin and Bean It and The Ends Justify the Beans (2004)

Designed to complement the slapstick antics of Rowan Atkinson's (FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL) live action MR. BEAN, this animated series presents further adventures with the loveable star. Atkinson provides the voiceover to the onscreen mayhem as it unfolds in a great selection of episodes from the series. This release provides both the GRIN AND BEAN IT collection, and THE END JUSTIFIES THE BEANS. Suitable for young and old, this is a fun-packed ride into cartoon land.

Love Actually (2003)

This ensemble comedy tells ten separate (but intertwining) stories of love in London (with a small portion set in France), leading up to a big climax on Christmas Eve. One of the threads follows the brand new (unmarried) Prime Minister (Grant) of the United Kingdom, who on his first day in 10 Downing Street falls in love with the girl (McCutcheon) who brings him his tea (Thompson plays his sister; Rickman plays her husband). Another story follows the relationship between a stepfather (Neeson) and his young stepson.

Johnny English (2003)

Johnny English stars Rowan Atkinson (Bean) as an accident-prone MI-7 agent on a mission to rescue Britain’s crown jewels and save the country and the monarchy from a Machiavellian French business magnate. John Malkovich (Ripley’s Game) portrays the scheming Sauvage and Ben Miller (The Parole Officer) is Johnny’s sidekick Bough. Double-platinum recording artist Natalie Imbruglia makes her feature film debut as special agent Lorna Campbell, the object of English’s desires.

Scooby-Doo (2002)

Scooby Doo and the Mystery Inc. gang take their animated antics to the big screen as a live-action movie. In this story, Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy have a bit of a falling out and go their separate ways, but they're drawn back together again by fate, in this case taking the form of the mysterious Spooky Island amusement park and the strange behavior being exhibited by the young visitors to the attraction. This is a case that only the Mystery Machine gang can tackle - if only they can get over their differences.

Maybe Baby (2001)

Sam and Lucy Bell are a married couple who seem to have it all: good looks, successful careers and an enthusiastic love life. The only thing they lack is the one thing they want most- a baby. They try everything in their efforts to reproduce: New Age chanting, acupuncture, creative lovemaking...but all this hectic schedule achieves is improvement in their cardiovascular systems. Spontaneity is soon replaced by ovulation charts when the couple reluctantly deliver themselves into the hands of medical professionals. At the same time, as Sam comes to find his job increasingly unfulfilling, he sets his sights on writing a screenplay, but writer's block strikes. Encouraged to 'look within' by his hippie friend Druscilla, Sam is inspired: he will write a comedy about a couple trying for a baby! But Lucy is horrified at the idea and forbids him to tell their story. Sam and Lucy's love for each other, the most important thing they both have, will now truly be put to the test...with surprising results.

Rat Race (2001)

An all-star cast proves just how far people will go for the chance to win $2 million in Jerry Zucker's RAT RACE. In the tradition of Zucker's AIRPLANE and NAKED GUN 2-1/2: THE SMELL OF FEAR, this film features wild chase scenes, slapstick comedy, sight gags, impossible situations, and zany characters. Whoopi Goldberg, Jon Lovitz, Rowan Atkinson, Cuba Gooding, Jr., Seth Green, and Breckin Meyer star as the lucky winners of special tokens in the slot machines at a Las Vegas casino. Casino owner John Cleese informs them that they are invited to participate in a race: the first of them to reach Silver City, New Mexico, will receive the $2 million cash prize. To make things interesting, there are no rules, which leads to the commandeering of a bus, a run-in with Nazis, the use of a high-speed experimental car, and revenge on a cheating boyfriend--And that's just the beginning. In the meantime, the participants are really part of a bigger plan: high rollers are betting on which of them will win the cash. Watch for brief appearances by Kathy Bates, Dean Cain, and Wayne Knight. Also starring Amy Smart, Kathy Najimy, Lanai Chapman, and Vince Vieluf.

Bean (1997)

In his big-screen debut, the BBC's beloved, bumbling, barely verbal Mr. Bean lands in the plastic wasteland of Los Angeles, where he has been sent to "guard" Whistler's Mother as it changes hands between the London National Art Gallery and a chichi private gallery. Absurd laughs from the hilarious Atkinson.

The Lion King (1994)

Wild Africa is the setting for this animated tale of a young lion cub whose evil uncle usurps his father's crown and lets hyenas overrun the kingdom. Dodging danger and befriending some oddball characters, the cub wanders until the day he's ready to return. Songs by Elton John and featuring the voices of Whoopie Goldberg, Cheech Marin, James Earl Jones, Matthew Broderick, Nathan Lane and Jeremy Irons. Academy Award Nominations: 4, including 3 for Best Original Song. Academy Awards: 2, including Best Original Score and Best Original Song (Elton John and Tim Rice: "Can You Feel the Love Tonight").

Four Weddings and A Funeral (1994)

Charles (Hugh Grant) is a confirmed British bachelor with a colorful romantic background who meets the perfect woman, Carrie (Andie MacDowell), at a friend's wedding. However, Charles's hopes of romance are dashed when Carrie announces she must return to America the next morning. The two continue to cross paths at other people's weddings, never finding each other at a time when both are single. As all of Charles's friends find love, he's left wondering if he will ever be the one going to the altar.

Bernard and the Genie (1992)

A 2000 year old genie arrives in the modern world only to discover that he's got a lot of catching up to do. In between granting Christmas wishes for the out-of-work loser who accidentally summoned him, the genie gorges himself on 20th century food, folks and fun!

The Tall Guy (1990)

An American actor working in London is frustrated by his lack of success. When love comes his way so does his chance at stardom. Now he must sort out his life to resolve the personal problems that arise with his good fortune.

The Witches (1990)

A nine-year-old boy and his grandmother discover adventure when they encounter the Grand High Witch and her diabolical plot to turn all of England's children into mice. Based on the story by Roald Dahl. This was the great Jim Henson's last producer credit.

Never Say Never Again (1983)

In this remake and updated version of the 1965 THUNDERBALL, James Bond, who has been primarily teaching for the last few years, is quite happily yanked out of semiretirement to deal with the deadly SPECTRE organization's newest plan for the destruction of the planet. (The Bond story line mimics Sean Connery's semiretirement from the role, which he had last played in 1971's DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER.) Agent Number 2, also known as Maximilian Largo (Klaus Maria Brandauer), has managed to steal two cruise missiles armed with nuclear warheads, and Agent Number 1, Blofeld (Max von Sydow), has threatened to explode them in areas with large populations if a huge, and almost impossible, ransom demand from the NATO countries is not met. The film features an excellent gaming battle between Largo and Bond, as well as stunning turns by Barbara Carrera and Kim Basinger.
