Country Grammar (2000) : Country Grammar is the debut album by rap artist Nelly. It was released on June 27, 2000. The album was a mainstream success. It debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and went on to peak at #1. The album is Nelly’s best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States. The first single released was the song “Country Grammar (Hot Shit)”. This song represents St. Louis, Missouri where Nelly was raised (the first line of the song is “You can find me in St. Louis rollin on dubs”). Other singles from the album include “E.I.,” “Ride wit Me,” and “Batter Up.”

Nellyville (2002) : Nellyville is the second studio album by rapper Nelly released in 2002. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard charts with 714,000 records sold in its first week and remained in the top spot for 4 weeks. It was also nominated for “Album of the Year” at the 2003 Grammys. The singles released from this album were “Hot in Herre”, “Dilemma”, “#1 , “Air Force Ones”, “Work It”, “Roc The Mic (Remix)” (unofficial and lack of airplay) and “Pimp Juice”. The album was certified 6× platinum by the RIAA on June 9, 2003.

Sweat (2004) : Sweat is one of the two albums (along with Suit) that St. Louis rapper Nelly released in 2004. Sweat debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, while on the same week, the Suit album debuted at #1 on the same chart. The tracks “Flap Your Wings,” “Na-Nana-Na,” and “Tilt Ya Head Back” were released as singles.

Suit (2004) : Suit is one of the two studio albums (along with Sweat) that St. Louis rapper Nelly released on September 14, 2004. Production for the album took place during 2003 to 2004 and was handled by some re-appeared producers, including The Neptunes, Jazze Pha and City Spud. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 396,000 copies in its first week. It became Nelly’s third consecutive number-one album in the United States. On the same week of release, the Sweat album debuted at number two selling around 342,000 copies in its first week on the same chart. Upon its release, Suit received generally positive reviews from most music critics.

Brass Knuckles (2008) : Brass Knuckles is the fifth studio album by American rapper Nelly, released on September 16, 2008 after several delays. It is Nelly’s first album not to be certified platinum. Nelly had a range of featured guests lined up for Brass Knuckles, with appearances from Akon, Ashanti, Avery Storm, Chuck D, Ciara, Fergie, Gucci Mane, Jermaine Dupri, Keri Hilson, LL Cool J, Nate Dogg, Pharrell Williams, R. Kelly, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, St. Lunatics, T.I. and Usher. Jermaine Dupri also stated possibilities of hopeful collaborations with Bruce Springsteen, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson. Dupri gave a look into the two collaborations, one being Nelly, Carey and Jackson all appearing on the same track.

Nelly 5.0 (2010) : Nelly 5.0 is the sixth studio album by American rapper Nelly due for release September 21, 2010, by Derrty Entertainment and Universal Records.
