Speak (2004) : Speak is the debut studio album from American recording artist Lindsay Lohan. It was released in the United States on December 7, 2004 (see 2004 in music), by Casablanca Records. Songwriters and producers on the album include Kara DioGuardi, John Shanks, and Cory Rooney. The album was the first high-seller from Casablanca Records in several years, selling 1,000,000 units in the United States. The album received mostly mixed reviews, with critics commenting that Lohan “isn’t a bad singer, but not an extraordinary singer either.” In the United States the album peaked at number four on the Billboard 200, selling 261,762 copies in its first week. In Germany the album debuted at a disappointing #53 position and took four weeks to complete its chartrun.
A Little More Personal (Raw) (2005) : A Little More Personal (Raw) is the sophomore studio album by American recording artist Lindsay Lohan. It was released in the United States on December 6, 2005 (see 2005 in music), by Casablanca Records. Song-writers and producers on the album include Kara DioGuardi, Greg Wells, and Ben Moody. The album was one of the high-selling albums from the record label in a few years, selling 550,000 in the United States. Despite this, it was less successful than Lohan’s previous album. The album received mostly mixed reviews, with critics commenting that, “In the long run, while still far from being an epic moment in current pop history, the bulk of A Little More Personal (RAW) easily ranks a few shades higher than her 2004 debut.”[2] In the United States, the album peaked at #20 on the Billboard 200, selling 82,000 copies in its first week. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA for shipping 500,000 copies.
