The Soul Sessions (2003): The Soul Sessions is the debut album by English soul singer-songwriter Joss Stone, released in the United Kingdom on 24 November 2003 by Relentless Records. The album consists of a collection of cover versions of ’60s and ’70s soul songs, in addition to a cover of a contemporary song, re-arranged into a soul song.
Mind, Body & Soul (2004): Mind Body & Soul is the second studio album by English soul singer-songwriter Joss Stone, released in the United Kingdom on 27 September 2004 by Relentless Records. It is Stone’s most successful album to date in the United Kingdom, where it debuted at number one the week of 9 October 2004, staying atop for one week. This made Stone became the youngest female singer to top the UK Albums Chart—a record previously held by Avril Lavigne—, while Mind Body & Soul became the first number-one album for Relentless Records. Subsequently, the album became the UK’s thirty-third best-selling album of 2004. It also debuted and peaked at number eleven on the U.S. Billboard 200 the week of 16 October 2004. Despite the album’s success, none of the singles released were eligible to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. However, the album’s third single, “Spoiled”, managed to peak at number fifty-four on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs.
Introducing Joss Stone (2007): Introducing…Joss Stone is the third studio album by English soul singer-songwriter Joss Stone, released in the United Kingdom on 12 March 2007 by Relentless Records. While not as commercially successful as Stone’s previous albums in her native UK, and but it was most successful in the U.S., debuted at number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 selling 118,000 units in its opening week, yielding the second-ever highest debut for a British female solo artist on the chart. It also achieved success throughout continental Europe, charting inside the top five and the top ten in several nations. According to EMI, the album has sold 1.5 million copies worldwide. It was her last album released by S-Curve.
Colour Me Free (2009): Colour Me Free! is the fourth studio album by English soul singer–songwriter Joss Stone. Originally scheduled for an April 2009 release, Stone’s label, EMI, pushed back the album’s release to July; it was ultimately confirmed to be released on 20 October 2009. The lead single is “Free Me”, released on 22 September, which “is about being free in every sense, especially in music senses”, as Stone told German Radio Bonn.
