Comedy, Kids/Family and Animation
This movie focuses on four residents and "stars" of the Central Park Zoo in New York City who are also best friends: a lion (Stiller), a zebra (Rock), a giraffe (Schwimmer) and a pregnant hippo (Smith). When one of them goes missing, the other three break out of the zoo looking for him, and eventually all four are captured and put in boxes to ship them back to the continent their species are originally from: Africa. An accident at sea, however, strands them on the shore of Madagascar. Having had humans take care of them their entire life, the four know nothing of surviving in the wild, or that one of them, the lion, is genetically predisposed to eat his three best friends. Exploring their surroundings, the four friends soon meet the Malagasy locals (a type of lemur given to having loud "rave-like" dance parties) and their carnivorous enemies, the fousas. As the two sides try to use these four new, strange (and large) friends to their benefit, our heroes are also confronted with the reality of their predestined roles in nature.

This movie focuses on one very tumultuous day for Max, as he figures out that the fare (Cruise) he's been driving around all day is a contract killer, committing a series of hits. Now, it's up to him to somehow stop the killer from executing the last witness... as well as himself.

In the third installment, the epic war between man and machine reaches a thundering crescendo: the Zion military, aided by courageous civilian volunteers like Zee and the Kid, desperately battles to hold back the Sentinel invasion as the Machine army bores into their stronghold. In this vast mechanized metropolis, Neo comes face to face with the ultimate power in the Machine world--the Deus Ex Machina--and strikes a bargain that is the only hope for a dying world. The war will end tonight, with Neo's destiny and the fate of two civilizations inexorably tied to the outcome of his cataclysmic confrontation with Smith.

Incredibly, Delacroix's spoof turns into a ratings bonanza, a cultural phenomenon that has the media pundits raving and audiences of all types howling.

2 hrs. 15 min. A beautifully realized tale of civilization versus nature, PRINCESS MONONOKE is a true epic by Japan's master animator Hayao Miyazaki. While protecting his village from a rampaging boar-god, the warrior Ashitaka (Billy Crudup) is cursed with a rapidly spreading scar that threatens to end his life. Seeking a cure and a reason for the animal-god's attack, he journeys into the sacred depths of the Great Forest Spirit's realm. On the edge of this once serene forest, however, the Tatara clan have begun to destroy the surrounding land to produce iron. In retaliation, San (Claire Danes), the adopted daughter of the wolf-god Moro (Gillian Anderson), has begun raiding the Tatara fortress to stop their encroachment. Soon Ashitaka is caught in the middle and must stop the war between the humans and the forest dwellers before they destroy each other.

If a lawyer can persuade Tony and Sherriff to return to Malaysia and serve 3 years in the same prison, Lewis' life will be spared. Will they sacrifice that portion of their lives to save the life of a friend?

Suspense/Horror
The hip, darkly comical sequel to self-aware "SCREAM." Sidney Prescott, now in college, once again finds herself the target of a bloodthirsty, cloak-clad, mask-wearing, knife-wielding, psychotic killer whose penchant for pop movie trivia runs deep. This time, however, the body count is higher and the deaths more outrageous--traits of a true sequel, as noted by one unfortunate victim. Not as pithy as the first film, but still a satisfying, definite true-to-form teen slasher.

Drama
Set in a single suburban house, this HBO production spans 40 years, comprising three stories that examine the evolution of a woman’s right to choose an abortion. The 1952 segment focuses on a war widow (Demi Moore) who finds herself pregnant after a brief encounter and desperately seeks an illegal abortion. Twenty years later, the house belongs to a married mother of four (Sissy Spacek) who is struggling with the discovery that she is pregnant again. Forced to choose between finishing her college education and starting the career that she put on hold for years or having another child, she also finds herself at odds with her hippie daughter. Set in 1996, the third segment focuses on an unwed college student (Ann Heche) living in the house who becomes pregnant by her married professor. The antichoice protesters surrounding the facility tragically impact her trip to a women’s clinic served by a devoted doctor (Cher). Directed by Nancy Savoca (DOGFIGHT, TRUE LOVE) and Cher, this film is a poignant examination of the evolution of the abortion debate, beginning with the tragedy of illegal back-alley abortions and ending with the violence so prevalent at women’s clinics today.

Comedy
Eddie Murphy stars as a grossly overweight chemistry professor in this update of the classic 1963 Jerry Lewis comedy. Eager to reinvent himself and to ease his loneliness, the professor develops a potion that magically transforms him into a lean, mean, sex machine, capable of seducing any woman in sight, but he loses his niceness along the way. Academy Award Nominations: Best Makeup.

Action/Adventure and Crime/Gangster
After a lifetime of being exploited by unscrupulous employers, pushed around by sleazy boyfriends, persecuted by the police, and unable to escape from the undertow of ghetto life by socially approved means, a quartet of Angelina women arm themselves to the teeth and bust up banks in this provocative and intriguing social drama.

Suspense/Horror
The Collector, a mysterious force of evil, hungers for possession of a key that will give him access to the monsters of Hell. But he cannot get the precious object away from Brayker, the key's guardian. The two begin an apocalyptic struggle, as The Collector summons carnivorous demons and orders them to destroy any obstacles to the key. But the key has provided Brayker with a magical talisman to keep him safe: the sacred blood of Jesus Christ. However, this power begins to weaken with time, and Brayker must come up with another form of protection... or else his flesh will be dessert.

An awkward African American teenager learns about life, love and himself with a little help from his friends. Set during a summer holiday on Martha's Vineyard in the 1970s, this is a warm comic look at a more innocent time.

Drama
When two African-American teenagers fall in love on the drug-ridden streets of Houston, they need courage to stay together and resist violent temptation in this urban drama.

Comedy
Andre Shame has no choice but to leave his private eye job on the LAPD, after failing to crack the case on drug lord, Mendoza, at the same time becoming romantically entangled with the wrong woman. However, when Rothmiller, Shame's ex-colleague now working for the DEA, tells him that the Mendoza case is being re-opened, Shame can't help but begin a personal investigation. This time, hopefully, Shame won't embarrass his private eye talents by becoming sidetracked by a new romance.

Vivid documentary-like anecdotes focusing on a homeboy who is a sociopathic killer and another who tells the story of how their parents' lives also fed the cycle of drug use, casual homicide and monstrous, mind-numbing violence.
