A fuckin’ big bang is gonna hit the shit out of everybody in 2006. That’s really all that can be said. I’m gonna bang the shit out of everything moving.
I’m one of the best representations of this quality hip-hop: three years in the making, Flipmode/Aftermath/Interscope, a lot of time to cook up some real crazy shit in the studio with
Dr. Dre.
A
lot of the most proper-acting people are the most savage in the bedroom!
I
appreciate the additional additives and preservatives that help sell a
project, but I'm sticking to what works best for me. I gotta sell the
album live on stage and make people believe in the songs.
I
love hip-hop, because you can do this like that and still be super
successful! You ain't gotta hold your tongue.
They got a song on the album with me, like every other album that I’ve made in the past.
I think New York needs to balance the fuckin’ music out, man. That’s part of the reason we lost the shit in the first place.
I
want you to see that I'm looking. Look at me look at you. I'm cool with
that.
My
craziest ideas come from cartoons. I approach music by taking that
cartoon extreme and the real life extreme and finding somewhere in the
middle. The animated element lures people in, but the real-life
substance puts the nail in the coffin.
They got legacies that are godly to me. It was an unbelievable honor to have them real interested in doing something with me. Shortly after my song was done with Rick James, he passed away. God bless the dead.
I liked The
DaVinci Code. It just had the concept. The core element of the concept of the book deals with whether or not Jesus had relatives and how they had to hide in these paintings every connection that came or might have led back to Jesus, and it’s crazy to me that they do shit like that. Is it because Jesus really ain’t no white boy and he’s black? The Old Testament describes him as a black man. The New Testament, the King James version, is some ol’ funny-style shit. Just for the record, King James was, from my understanding, a homosexual. I don’t knock that, I just don’t live by that. I follow the Old Testament.
You
need a serious battery endorsement to be Busta Rhymes every day!
Samuel L. Jackson
is truly a guru at what he does. Any man doing seven/eight films a year, you can't tell them shit. I [was] a proud, humble apprentice, a sponge soaking in all the information, experience, and guidance that I was able to get.
You're
gonna notice me when I come in. I'm gonna make a statement without
opening my mouth, and when I leave, you're gonna remember that.
That’s part of the reason why I made “Touch It.” I just felt like it was straight feel-good energy, club banger, make people wild out, put a smile on your motherfuckin’ face, pour your drinks around, spend your money at the bar and just feel good about being out.
That’s what “Touch It” is. Don’t get me wrong: You gonna get the street on the album as well, I’m just trying to re-establish what it’s like to have that feel-good energy in the club, in the street, and New York needs that
I
guess just like in any situation, when you're around people and they
make you feel cool, that's the comfort zone right there. If you're
around people that's, you know, lookin' at you strange and moving in a
way that it just doesn't fit the normal way of moving or activity that
we all identify with to be comfortable, we're gonna not feel
comfortable.
Hi. I'm smokin' a cigarette, if you don't mind. I know it's against the law here. But I'm gonna break this rule today, God damn it! Okay. Again, I'm apologizing.
I think there's been a lack of
delivery on promises, from home all the way down to religion and society. Kids nowadays are looking forward to shit that they aren't getting. The spiritual and mental letdown is tremendous. That's why they rebel.
I
was up the front taking pictures, waving, yelling, 'Dad's right here,
smile for this flick, little man. I'm proud of you.' Talking about his
son's football game”

These niggers can't hold the torch, so why pass it.
