Lost in Translation (2003)

Drama
1 hr. 45 min.
This is the story of two Americans, a washed-up TV star (Murray) in town for a TV whiskey commercial shoot, and the (very) young wife (Johansson) of a photographer, who meet in Tokyo, Japan and end up spending a weekend hanging out there together on a "soul-searching mission."

May (2003)

Comedy, Drama and Suspense/Horror
1 hr. 35 min.
May (Bettis) is a strange (and emotionally disturbed) young woman who was born with a lazy eye, which meant that she grew up wearing an eye patch, ostracized from the rest of the kids socially, with only a spooky doll kept in a glass and wood case to keep her company. Moving to Los Angeles, May takes a job working as a veterinary assistant at an animal hospital where she is befriended by the sexy (and lesbian) receptionist, Polly (Faris), whom she has a brief relationship after a dating experience with an aspiring filmmaker, Adam (Sisto) goes darkly (and bloodily) wrong. As this more-than-slightly cracked woman finds her attempts at human connection failing, she becomes more frustrated... and violent, lashing out at the world, in a blood-soaked effort to make the perfect friend: a doll made out of human parts.

Scary Movie 3 (2003)

Comedy and Science Fiction/Fantasy
1 hr. 30 min.
The Scary Movie gang is back for the third installment in this spoof series, but they are no longer content to stick to the horror genre. Everything from "Lord of the Rings" to "8 Mile" is up for skewering.

The Hot Chick (2002)

Comedy
1 hr. 41 min.
A "popular yet mean-spirited" teenage girl (McAdams) wakes up one day to find herself turned into a man in his 30's (Schneider). Along the way to finding out how she ended up like that (and how to get back into her own body), she discovers how shallow and cruel she's always been.

Scary Movie 2 (2001)

Comedy
1 hr. 30 min.
Scary Movie 2 casts its satirical eye on such classics as "The Exorcist" and "Poltergeist", as well as the more recent films "Hannibal", "What Lies Beneath", "The House on Haunted Hill", "Charlie's Angels" and "Mission Impossible". The film opens with a spoof of "The Exorcist", with Father McFelly (James Woods) assigned to purge a head twisting Megan (Natasha Lyonne) of an other worldly poltergeist. Then, picking up where they left off, the Wayans reunite with Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), who is now a college coed. A mad professor (Tim Curry) recruits her and her group of classmates for a weekend getaway under the auspices of a scientific experiment. As the ever shocking and often extra curricular activities of the weekend unfold, the hilarious surprises keep the fun coming.

Scary Movie (2000)

Comedy and Suspense/Horror
1 hr. 28 min.
From the minds that brought you "I'm Gonna Git You Sucka," "In Living Color" and "Don't Be A Menace In South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood" comes a thriller-comedy (a thrill-comedy, if you will) that is guaranteed to shock. In this raucous comedy spoof of recent horror films, not even "The Blair Witch Project" or "The Sixth Sense" has been spared.

Lovers Lane (1999)

This Valentine's Day, Lovers Lane is haunted by the events that took place 13 years ago. It was then that a brutal killer took the lives of two young sweethearts who were heavily petting one another. Here it is another Valentine's Day and the maniac has escaped from his institution complete with his original murder weapon, the hook he wears replacing his hand. Wreaking terror and leaving messages such as "Prison Food Sucks" he has the whole town on the run in this frightening thriller with a surprise ending. Anna Feris (SCARY MOVIE) and Riley Smith (BRING IT ON) are among a talented cast that elevate LOVERS LANE above typical slasher fare.
