Saw VI is the sixth installment in the Saw film series. The film, which began shooting on March 30, 2009, will be released in theaters on October 23, 2009. Vaughn and Favreau star with Faizon Love, Jason Bateman, Kristin Davis, Kristen Bell, Malin Akerman and Jean Reno.

Where the Wild Things Are is an 2009 fantasy film directed by Spike Jonze. It is a live-action adaptation of Maurice Sendak's 1963 children's book of the same name. The film combines live action, suitmation, animatronics, and CGI. Sherlock Holmes is an 2009 film adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's fictional character of the same name. Guy Ritchie will direct the film, while Joel Silver, Lionel Wigram, Susan Downey and Dan Lin will produce the film. Michael Robert Johnson, Anthony Peckham and Simon Kinberg will write the screenplay based on Lionel Wigram's story and Doyle's characters. Robert Downey Jr. will portray Holmes and Jude Law will portray John Watson. Planet 51 is an animated film directed by Jorge Blanco and written by Joe Stillman. Produced by Madrid-based Ilion Animation Studios and HandMade Films for $60 million, it was acquired for US distribution by New Line Cinema in November 2007.
